Parapet/Tunnel Mounted, Near Side Marker Post - Type 6A

This distance marker post is used in tunnels, underpasses, etc, on the near side of UK Motorways and Trunk Roads where verge mounted posts cannot be used.

RED vinyl only, is applied to these posts.

It is mounted using double sided butyl adhesive and should be located 50mm below the top of the parapet 450 mm above verge level.
